I trained at St.Thomas’s Hospital, London and undertook my General Practice training at The Arundel Surgery, before becoming a partner in 1992. I chose general practice as a career as I enjoy the variety, continuity of care and looking after families. One of the greatest pleasures in my job is building relationships over many years and looking after individuals from birth until leaving home and often after.

My specific interests are therapeutics, surgical dermatology and care of the elderly. I am a Dermatology GPwSI (GP with a special interest), perform the majority of minor surgery at the practice and undertake weekly sessions for the community dermatology service. I was a GP trainer for 10 years and I am now considering teaching medical students.

Outside work, I thoroughly enjoy time spent with my two lively daughters and supportive wife, Carina. When time allows, I am the caretaker of a medieval cottage and enjoy walking and cycling on the South Downs.
