About Arundel Surgery Community Association
The Arundel Surgery Community Association is a Patient Support Group and registered charity (Registered charity number 1096393) which has been in existence for over 15 years. Although originally formed to support the building and equipping of the current Arundel Surgery building, the association has continued as a vibrant Patient Participation Group with the following objectives:
- To support the patients of Arundel Surgery by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities, support services and equipment not normally provided by the NHS or other statutory bodies
- To support health education and to provide wider information around health matters through the provision of lectures, forums, publications and newsletters
- To raise funds to support these objectives.

ASCA is a Patient Group
ASCA is organised and led by patients, with the full support of the Doctors and staff, as they are very keen for patients to get involved.
Up until now, it has been for local patients to say if they want a Patient Participation Group – however, as of April 2015, this has become a contractual requirement for GPs.
You can help support our patient group by donating on our JustGiving page.
ASCA Meetings
We have a small committee which meets 3 to 6 times a year, both for semi-formal meetings and task-orientated meetings when planning activities and events. Once a year in the autumn our committee meeting is extended to include our annual general meeting which is open to all. When we have activities planned, we also invite help from other volunteers and if necessary we co-opt help from experts or willing pairs of hands.
Join the Arundel Surgery Community Association
We are not an exclusive group and always welcome new members who would like to get involved in any way.
