Dietician
Zoe Smith, a dietician based at St. Richard’s Hospital holds a clinic on alternate months at the surgery. She is happy to see and advise patients with any dietary problem or issue.

Steroid injections
If you suffer from marked arthritis, we can inject specific joints with a steroid and aspirate fluid that has collected, to help relieve pain and improve mobility.

This is not performed as first line treatment, has small associated risks and can only be performed a few times. It is usually an effective way to get you over an acute flare-up of symptoms.

We can also inject a variety of ligament & tendon problems such as plantar fasciitis, golf or tennis elbow, trigger fingers and tenosynovitis.

If you are suitable for these treatments your GP will discuss the options with you in more depth.

Musculoskeletal Specialist (MSK)
We are fortunate enough to have a highly trained and very experienced Physiotherapist who is professionally qualified to assess and treat patients without a referral from your GP.

Appointments can be made through reception for new problems that have not previously been seen or assessed by your GP. Matthew Shaw attends the Practice on a Wednesday.

Community Midwife
A visiting midwife holds weekly clinics at the surgery and has regular contact with the doctors at the surgery.

Coils & Implants
We are currently unable to fit Coils & Implants but can arrange this with another surgery locally.

General Immunisations
Arundel Surgery offers a full range of childhood and adult vaccinations. These are performed by our experienced nurses. See the NHS Vaccination Schedule

We are also able to provide certain vaccinations or tests to check for immunity such as for Hepatitis B, if you require this for work. It should be noted that these are not NHS services however and a fee will be payable.
